Using Video Note in Assignment Feedback

D2L Brightspace Video Note is used for quick, embedded video recordings. Instructors leverage it for announcements, personalized feedback, and engaging content. Students use it for video assignments and discussions, enhancing interaction and presence within the course.

1. From your Homepage select Tools in the Navbar, then click "Assignments".

2. Beside the Assignment you wish add video feedback to click the drop-down arrow and select "View Submissions".

3. Click the Assignment submission you will be adding feedback to.

4. Click on "Record Video" to open the Media Capture window.

5. Click on "New Recording", and proceed to record yourself as needed.

6. Click "Stop Recording" then click "Add".

7. Enter in the desired Title, Description and Language, then click "Add".

PCC recommends always have videos auto generate captions.

7. You should now see the video attached, click "Publish".
