Embedding a Video from Panopto

1. To add a video to course content, begin by going to pima-cc.hosted.panopto.com and logging in with MyPima credentials.

2. In this example, a video about chocolate is searched for to be added. When the desired video is found click "Share".

3. Under "Who can access this video" click on "Change" which will pop up another small window.

Then, click on "Public (unlisted) Anyone who has the link".

This way only people with the link have access and it does not appear in everyone's library.

Next, click on "Embed"

Ensure the following boxes are checked as shown below.

Finally click "Copy Embed Code" to use this in D2L.

4. With the code copied to the clipboard, head over to D2L and find the module and location the video needs to be added. Click the "Upload/Create" button and then choose "Video or Audio" from the drop down.

5. This box will pop up, paste the embed code into the box. Then add the desired ​Title and confirm the other settings​. When finished, click "Save".

6. After "Save" has been clicked, the screen will return to the module with the new video included. Review and ensure everything looks as desired.
