Using Video Note in Content

D2L Brightspace Video Note is used for quick, embedded video recordings. Instructors leverage it for announcements, personalized feedback, and engaging content. Students use it for video assignments and discussions, enhancing interaction and presence within the course.

1. From your Homepage select Content in the Navbar.

2. Select the Module you want to work in then click the drop-down arrow beside the desired Webpage and finally select 'Edit HTML'.

3. From the HTML editor select the Insert Stuff icon.

4. In the pop up window select the 'Add Video Note' option, this will open the Insert Stuff Video Note window.

5. Select "New Recording" and proceed to record yourself as needed.

6. When finished recording, click "Stop Recording".

7. Click "Next".

8. Enter in the desired Title, Description and Language, then click "Next".

PCC recommends always have videos auto generate captions.

9. Click "Insert".

You do not need to wait for a video to finish processing to click Insert.

10. Your video has been added, click "Save and Close".
