1. Click on "Tools" and then "Discussions".

2. Click on the arrow next to desired discussion.

Then click on "Edit Topic" from the drop down menu.

4. Enter the desired grade points for the discussion and then click the arrow next to "In Grade Book"
5. Next, click "Edit or Link to Existing" from the drop down menu.
6. Here the graded item can be created or chosen based on needs. Below, the discussion was linked to an existing grade item by using the drop down menu. When finished, click "OK".

After the window closes, the screen will return to the previous settings window. Be sure to click "Save and Close" when finished.

Test discussion for Screen Steps Procedures, I like how we can establish the Start and Stop available dates and add a New Topic and Forum is interesting as well. Edit topic as needed and grading with points or in the grade book is good too.
