5. Select the "Insert Image" icon in the text editor toolbar. It looks like a picture frame.
6. In the Add a File window, select a location of the image you want to embed. In this example, the image is saved in the Course Offering Files so we are going to select it.
7. Inside Course Offering Files, select the folder where the desired image resides. In this example, we selected the "Images" folder.
8. Then select the checkbox next to the desired image file name and click the "Add" button. In this example, we chose "pagetop_modules_soc201.jpg".
9. Add an alternative text for the image then select the OK button.
Alternative Text: Alternative text, or "ALT-text" should be a short description of the image that also explains context for the image's placement on the page. Simple language like: 'Image of... showing how... to the [direction] of [object] at the [top, bottom, left, right, middle/center] of the [page, image, table, etc.]' will help those in need of alternative text to navigate directions easier if needed.
10. Set the image alignment, and adjust the image size accordingly by holding and dragging (inward or outward) the blue square boxes around the image.
11. Preview your page to ensure that the image is displaying properly then select Save and Close.
You are done. Great job!
