Enabling Advanced Assessments in D2L

From within your course, select the "Tools" tab from the navbar. From the dropdown select "Assignments".

From the Assignments page, click on the downward arrow next to the name of the assignment you want to enable the advanced assessment in and click Edit Assignment from the dropdown.

Please note, once students start submitting their work you will not be able to enable the advanced assessment in an assignment. This needs to be done before students start submitting work.

From the edit assignment page, find the Evaluation and Feedback section look for the "Select Evaluators" option.

Once you have clicked on "Select Evaluators" a box will pop-up with a list of all uses in your course that have evaluation access. From there you will be able to select who would you like to evaluate this specific course. Once finished, click the blue Done button at the bottom of the page.

If all evaluators are selected, you will have the option to click on the "Manage Allocations" link

Once clicked, a new box will populate that gives you a few options.

Option 1: Allocate all evaluators to every learner: all evaluators can evaluate all students

Option 2: Randomly allocate 1 evaluator to every leaner evenly: D2L will randomly select which evaluator will evaluate which student

Option 3: You can manually choose who you and the other evaluator will be evaluating.

If choosing Option 1 or 2, once selected, make sure to click the Apply Allocation Method.

Once finished, click the blue Done button at the bottom of the box.

Once you are finished allocating each evaluator click the blue Save and Close button at the bottom of the page.
