Setting Dates within the D2L Quiz Tool to Display in the Pulse App

1. To begin, from Quizzes, select a Quiz you want to edit. Select the actions drop-down menu and select Edit.

2. An Edit Quiz window will generate. From the default Properties tab, navigate to the Restrictions tab to set Availability and Restriction details.

3. Select Has Due Date and set the desired date and time. Then, navigate to the Availability section where you need to set the Has Start Date and Has End Date along with the time of the day. This section states the day and time the learner is able to access the quiz.

At a minimum, Has End Date must be established so the quiz will appear in the Brightspace Pulse.

4. Then, add the quiz to your Course Calendar by selecting Display in Calendar. When done and ready, select Save and Close.

5. Your availability details will display and the quiz will now be visible in Brightspace Pulse.
