Simple Syllabus: Replacing with a different Syllabus

This guide will walk you through the steps to replace your current syllabus with a syllabus from a previous semester.

Replacing a syllabus is not recommended if your department uses a "Common Syllabus Template".

Please check with your supervisor before using this tool!

1. Locate and select the "Replace with a different syllabus?" button at the top left of your syllabus above the header.

2. Please select a previous or current term syllabus from the list of syllabi that you'd like to use, or search for a specific syllabus.

Simple Syllabus will show a list of your past and current term syllabi, and you can choose any of them.

Alternatively, you can search for a specific syllabus. Use the "Term" filter to narrow your search to a particular term (1), or enter a course prefix (such as ANT or MAT), name, or CRN number in the "Search" field to find a specific syllabus (2).

3. Review your syllabus

After selecting a syllabus, you will see the specific syllabus content that is being imported and which course it is being imported to.

Simple Syllabus does not show a confirmation message after importing a syllabus. Please verify all components of the syllabus for accuracy.
