Students often have several recurring questions about Simple Syllabus, which is the platform used by Pima Community College to deliver consistent, accessible, and standardized course syllabi. The most common questions typically include:
How do I access my syllabus?
Your syllabus can be accessed in two ways.
- Via your D2L course by selecting the "Syllabus" tab. Use the (link opens in a new tab) "Simple Syllabus: How to Access and View a Syllabus in D2L" guide.
- Via the Simple Syllabus Dashboard: (link opens in a new tab) https://pima.simplesyllabus.com. Use the (link opens in a new tab) "Simple Syllabus: How to Access and View a Syllabus in the Simple Syllabus Dashboard" guide.
Why can't I see my syllabus?
There are a few possibilities for this.

What should I do if there is incorrect or missing information in the syllabus?
Please contact you instructor via email. You can find their email in your syllabus in the "Instructor Information" component.
Can I download or print the syllabus?
While the syllabus will be available in your D2L course, you can also access a digital full-page version, or download a PDF version to print.

Please note that an instructor may edit the syllabus until the last day of the semester. Click the "Follow" button to follow a syllabus to receive email notifications anytime a change is made.
Is the syllabus updated automatically if the instructor makes changes?
Yes, a syllabus is automatically updated if your instructor makes any changes to it.
To receive email notifications when your syllabus is updated, you can subscribe (1)to each syllabus.
The date (2) the syllabus was last updated is also available on it.
How do I acknowledge my syllabus?
Acknowledging a syllabus after reading the document is great practice and prepares you for the demands of each course you take! This action also informs your instructor that you have read the syllabus.
