This guide will explain how to locate the link to a syllabus in D2L and in the Simple Syllabus Dashboard.
Downloading a syllabus is optional. We do not recommend printing, downloading, or sharing the syllabus until it has been approved.
Use Simple Syllabus: Downloading the Syllabus as a PDF and/or the Simple Syllabus: Printing the Syllabus instructions if needed.
Locating the Syllabus Link in D2L
If needed, use the Simple Syllabus: Accessing the Simple Syllabus Dashboard instructions.
In D2L, select the drop-down arrow (1). Select the "Share" (2) option.
A link to the syllabus will generate and automatically be copied to the computer's clipboard.
You can now paste the link. In the example below, the link has been pasted into an email.
Locating the Syllabus Link in the Simple Syllabus Dashboard
If needed, use the Simple Syllabus: Accessing the Simple Syllabus Dashboard instructions.
Locate the syllabus you would like to share in your Simple Syllabus Home within the Completed column. Select the "Share" button.
Select the "Syllabus URL" (1), "Syllabus PDF URL" (2), and/or the "Copy Embed Code" (3) to have it automatically copied to the computer's clipboard (4).
You can now paste the link. In the example below the link has been pasted into an email.
Congratulations! You have shared the syllabus link.
