Simple Syllabus: Resetting a Component

Resetting a component within Simple Syllabus may be necessary to initiate a fresh start after extensive modifications, or to synchronize content with the Common Syllabus Template following the completion of its editing process.

Step-By-Step Instructions

1. From within your Simple Syllabus, locate the component you wish to reset and find the "Reset" button in the list of tools on the left side of your screen.

2. Select the checkbox of the component you wish to reset. For this example, we are resetting the "Grade Determination and Grading Policies" component.

3. Select the "Next" button.

4. Confirm you are resetting the correct component, then select the "Reset" button.

The first arrow points to the component that is selected to reset. The second arrow points to the "Reset" button.

5. Once the reset has been performed, a "Reset Complete" message will appear.

6. Next, select the "Close" button.

7. Scroll down to the component that was just reset to verify that it is now blank.

The "Grade Determination and Grading Policies" component is now empty.

Congratulations, you have reset a component!
