Simple Syllabus Videos and Training Schedule

Updated on

Simple Syllabus software is available in all D2L Course Shells for credit courses, and via the Simple Syllabus Dashboard.

The tool is now the College’s syllabus system for all credit course syllabi.

You can access your syllabus template from:

  • Your D2L Course Shell (see the “Syllabus” tab on the Navigation or Nav Bar) in D2L Brightspace

OR

You must be staffed for your course in the Schedule of Classes to access the syllabus!

Some departments use a “Common Syllabus Template" that must be updated first and/or supervisors want to ensure that the course is running prior to submitting a syllabus. We recommend you consult your supervisor, typically a department head, to discuss any guidance they have prior to starting your syllabus.

In addition, PCC Faculty Senate has a list of Faculty Senate Approved Syllabus Statement Recommendations for your consideration and use on a variety of topics.

Please see the Academic Year 26 Syllabus Schedule (includes Academic A & B) for detailed information on syllabus availability!
