About
This Pima Tech Guide walks you through how to properly import syllabus components without importing the Course Meeting Information (CMI) component. If you import the CMI component from a prior term it will revert the component to a data block. The component will be difficult to edit and it will NOT keep the edits.
Do not use the "Would you like to import a syllabus?" feature. It does not allow you to pick which components to import.

Click on the "Import" button.

- Click on the "Term" down-arrow and click on the "Full Academic Year 24-25' option.
- You may also search for a syllabus by "Subject", "Course number", "Instructor", and/or the CRN in the "Search" box.
- Click on the appropriate syllabus option.

- Click on the "Finalize" button.

- Click on the "Start import of the following content" button.
- Click on the "Close" button and the page will refresh.

If you unintentionally imported the Course Meeting Information component you will need to reset it. Below is an image of what the CMI component will look like if it's been imported with data points.
You are done. Great job!
