Panopto: Creating a Copy of a Video

About

Panopto offers a method to transfer or copy a video into a folder. This saves time by maximizing valuable video information resources, and providing a method to organize the video storage structure.

There is some information to consider about video reference copies.

  • Copied videos have new analytics and allow minimal customization in appearance (title, discussion, etc).
  • Source video alterations change all the copied videos or sub copied videos (a copy of the copy).
  • Deleting a source video with copies generates an error message. Delete all reference copies before deleting the source.
