Panopto: Embedding a Panopto Video in D2L

Part 1: Finding and Copying the Embed Code

2. Under Who can access this video, select Change.

4. Select Embed.

5. Uncheck the Show Title and Show Logo boxes.

6. Select Copy Embed Code.

Embedding a Video Within D2L on a Templated HTML Page

2. Select the Source Code button on the rich text editor.

3. Locate the video container HTML element your would like you video to be embedded in, delete the placeholder iframe code, and paste in your Panopto video embed code. Select Save when you are done editing the HTML.

4. Select Save and Close

5. Congrats! Your Panopto video is now embedded on the HTML template Page.

Embedding a Video Within D2L on a Blank HTML Page

2. Select the Insert Stuff button on the rich text editor.

The example below is a blank HTML page (no template), but you can embed a Panopto video anywhere the rich text editor is found. This could be in an announcement, discussion, assignment, description, etc.

3. Scroll down and select Enter Embed Code.
