Panopto: Changing Screen Sharing Permissions on Macs

Panopto Capture may require you to enable your browser to record your screen. Please follow the directions below to enable your browser to record your screen. The example is using Catalina 10.15 MacOS and Google Chrome, but this general process can be used with other MacOS versions and browsers.

Step-by-step Directions

We strongly recommend using Google Chrome, but Mozilla FireFox is also acceptable. Please avoid using Safari and Internet Explorer.

When you select Quit Now the browser will completely close out. If you need to save any content open in your browser, please do so before selecting Quit & Reopen.
