PlayPosit: Student Viewing Experience

About

PlayPosit video viewing will take place on the interactive video platform. Your instructor will assign bulbs, or video to your D2L course that will have embedded questions. In order to complete the video assignment, you will need to respond to the various questions in order to be evaluated for your work.

Note: It's recommended to use Chrome (the latest web version) to access PlayPosit. For more technical details see PlayPosit: Minimum Tech Requirements

Which Student Viewing experience would you like?

By selecting "settings" a corner options box will appear.

There are 6 sections in the settings box:

1. Audio: Adjusting the volume

2. Speed: Lower or fasten the video speed

3. Segments: Video segments

4. Video: 1080p-240p

5. Captions: None; On

6. Controls Display: Always, Fade

Always: Default section that shows the player controls at the bottom of the video.

Fade: After 5 seconds inactivity the player controls will disappear.

Emotes, Audio, Images, Equations, Bold, Italic, Bulletins, and Special characters.

Note: Select the submit button after uploading an audio, video, or assignment. Add any other text and alternative information that you'd like to add with your submission if necessary.

Note: Make sure when you are using symbols like < or > (source code feature), add a space before and after so that it's not misinterpreted as an HTML code.

Select the caption option on the bottom right corner of the video. It should then automatically apply captions to your video.

Caution: The Instructors can view your notes.
