Which roles are you looking for?

There are 3 bulb specific roles which include:

  • Owner
  • Co-Editor
  • Facilitator

Owner

Note: Only institutional users can add co-editors and facilitators.

When you create a bulb, you are automatically classified as the owner. This gives you access to edit, assign, and share your bulb without restrictions.

Co-Editor

Can do everything an owner does except share, download, or delete a bulb that they don't own.

Facilitator

Can do everything a co-editor does except edit or change the settings of a bulb they don't already own.

Co-editors and facilitators can also unlink a bulb from a class that is accessable to them.

There is 3 different class roles offered in Playposit which include:

  • Class Owner
  • Co-Instructor
  • Teaching Assistant

The instructor and teaching assistant roles are available at the class level. Both roles have access to bulbs that are already linked in a class.

Class Owner

Owner has access to everything without restrictions in the class.

Co-Instructor

An instructor is able to edit bulbs in the class. They are only able to unlink a bulb if they are an owner or co-editor of that specific bulb. Instructors can't manage permissions or archive classes.

Teaching Assistant

A teaching assistant can manually assist a class in grading and managing the bulbs . If they don't have access to being a co-editor or owner of that bulb they can't edit or unlink the bulb.  Assistants can't manage permissions, archive classes, or edit/assign bulbs.

Congratulations, you are done!
