PlayPosit: Learner-Made Bulb Student Guide

About

PlayPosit's Learner-Made Bulbs allows you, the student, to create inventive PlayPosit videos to share with your instructor and even the class. This feature gives you access to the PlayPosit Designer to upload and customize your own video bulbs through your D2L course.

Step-by-Step Instructions

1. To complete a Learner Made Bulb Assignment, select Start to access the designer on D2L.

2. Add a Video to the Bulb in the PlayPosit Designer

Upload or Record Video will be available if the instructor enables direct video upload.

3. Navigate to the Interactions tab and select Add an Interaction.

4. Choose Interactions to insert into the bulb.

Image of PlayPosit’s interaction choices. Being listed top to bottom left to right, this includes: Multiple Choice, Check All, Free Response, Fill in the Blank, Poll, Discussion, Pause, Web Embed, Vocabulary Matching, Function’s Table, and Place in Order.

5. Once the bulb is complete, select the Review tab and then Submit.

Ensure the bulb is completely finished before selecting Submit. The designer will no longer be accessible to make corrections.

6. A notification will pop up to confirm the submission of the assignment. Select Submit when ready to send it to the Instructor.

7. When the assignment is relaunched in D2L, there will be an option to Preview Submission.
