Perusall: Reviewing Student Comments

About

Reviewing student's comments in Perusall is crucial when deciding the grade for participation. There are 2 main locations where you can access you student's comments:

  • In Context (Inside of the assignment)
  • In Tabular (The analytical/overview before opening the assignment)

Tip: Student assignments in Perusall are usually graded automatically. To view the grades assigned, select "Gradebook" on the left navigation panel.

How would you like to view the comments?

In this menu you can select a specific filter that will help you find the comments you are looking for in the assignment such as specific person or show comment scores.

Individual comment scores will appear for each student's comment. You can change an automatically graded Perusall assignment by selecting a new score from the dropdown.

In this table, you have the option to filter down to a particular student by navigating to the student in the top dropdown menu.

Note: Perusall might not have a Confusion Report generated if there is a small number of responses.
