Perusall: Adding a Perusall Course Login to D2L

In this article you will learn how to add a Perusall course login to D2L in order to access Perusall directly from your course.

Prerequisite

Sign in to your D2L course where you will be using Perusall. You will need to create an access link in each of the courses where you will be using Perusall.

Step-by-Step Instructions

1. Navigate to the Content section in your D2L course and select Add a module. Title your module Perusall Access Link.

2. Navigate to this new module and select Existing Activities.

5. A link to Perusall is now added to your course.

When you click this link from D2L, it will automatically sign you into Perusall and creates your course in Perusall linked to D2L.

7. To hide the link, select the eye icon titled Visible. You now have the option to toggle to Hide the link. Once you start adding Perusall assignments to D2L, students will access each individual assignment link, not this instructor access Perusall course link.

When adding a Perusall log in, make sure the student accesses the content through D2L. If they access it through Perusall's website, the grade syncing and content will have complications.
