Perusall: Creating an Assignment

Step-by-Step Instructions

1. Navigate to Perusall's My Courses page to select a course created from D2L that you'd like to add your content in.

Your D2L courses should show on the My Courses page of Perusall. A folder is automatically created when you access Perusall from your course D2L page.

2. Once you arrive on the Get Started page, select Assignments.

If you don't have an assignment created, make sure to add content in the library to have assignment options. See Perusall: Adding Documents for more instruction.

Documents

Materials from another course
Video
Podcast
Folder
Student Upload Folder

3. Select Add assignment using the green +Add assignment button after Students tab or use the Add assignment button below Get Started.

5. Go through the additional questions and options/scoring to save.

6. The assignment is now shown under the Perusall Assignments.

To link your assignment to D2L, follow the instructions in Perusall: Adding an Assignment to D2L.

7. Student View of the assignment on the course.

The student can view Perusall assignments and library materials after logging in from D2L.

Here is how to provide a log in for the students to access Perusall.
