Perusall: Creating A Rubric

The Perusall Rubrics section allows you to create a general rubric guideline template to be used in review assessments (peer, instructor) for feedback purposes. It can be reused in assignments during assignment creation to assist with quick content deployment.

Step-by-step Instructions

1. Navigate to the Perusall dashboard left section and select: Settings > Scoring > Rubrics. Then select "Create new rubric" on the right.

2. Create new rubric criteria is displayed to fill out. Select OK when finished.

Customize the following information:

Rubric name
Evaluation criteria
Description and Scoring of the criteria

3. An example of a rubric titled "IT Analysis Assignment" is displayed below.

4. After selecting OK, the new rubric is created and shown on the Rubrics page.

Congratulations! You have successfully created a Perusall rubric!
