1. Ensure phone has a scan app.
If it doesn't, download one from Play Store (the example used is DocScan).

2. Next, use the app to photograph the document.
Most apps give the option to crop as well as make any other edits.

3. Save the document as a .doc
Rename as desired or specific to assignment.

4. After saving, the document can be viewed as a PDF and emailed to transfer it to a computer. Or it can be saved as local and accessed later.
5. Log in to D2L and locate assignment.
Click on Upload.

6. Locate the document from the saved location and click the Submit button.
