Packback is Pima's new AI-powered discussion platform that is designed to let you as a student explore your own natural curiosity for your course topics. This new tool does not use a traditional discussion style where the instructor asks a question and you respond to it and other students responses to the same question. Instead, Packback is purposefully designed so that you and your peers simply ask the questions on your mind. An AI-powered coaching system will guide you as you ask and support your questions, and as your respond to your peers questions. This AI will evaluate your effort and assign you a Curiosity Score based on your post.

If your course is using Packback, you will find in it in the Content section of your course within a module as a link. Simply select that link to access your course's Packback Community. Each instructor may use Packback a bit differently so be sure to follow your instructors directions for using Packback.
