An embedded H5P object doesn't create a D2L Gradebook item and doesn't send grades to the D2L grade book. Technically the H5P object can still be graded within the object itself, it just can't send anything to D2L.
Please see H5P's Scoring overview per content type article for up-to-date information on what H5P content types can have a grade item and when each content type sends scores to D2L.
