About Us
The LMS & eLearning Quality department, which includes the D2L Support Team, reports to Michael Amick, Assistant Vice Chancellor of Digital Learning.
We support academic activities within the learning management system and help faculty create effective, consistent, and accessible learning experiences in D2L. Our team provides comprehensive D2L technical support, day-to-day management of the LMS, and guidance and resources that support course quality and preparation.

Ally Accessibility Consultations
Meet with Lucy for assistance in making your course accessible. Learn how to use the Ally Accessibility Tracker, how to make a pdf and slide presentation accessible, and best practices for alt text and headers, among many other skills!
Lucy Chester serves as a part-time Instructional Design Specialist for Accessibility. She is passionate about creating spaces where all learners can thrive. She offers one-on-one virtual training, creating how-to guides, and providing training and workshops for instructors and staff. She holds a BA in English Literature from Utah State University and previously worked at Utah State University as the Caine College of the Arts Scheduling Coordinator and at the University of Arizona as a Graduate Coordinator. She has experience working in the Tucson community as an online educator teaching GED Prep courses in Spanish. She loves sewing, the beautiful Tucson desert, and reading.
