About ALT Team Tech Pilots

Updated on

The Academic Learning Technologies (ALT) Team pilot process places high value on the voices of instructors and learners voices by allowing them to drive the selection and implementation of new academic technologies. As part of this process, we collect instructors' and learners' voices through surveys, user round tables, and video testimonials. This direct qualitative and quantitative data from instructors and students allows us to evaluate course impacts, identify areas for improvement, and ensure future implementations match pedagogical best practices. Our pilots strive to incorporate as many diverse perspectives as possible. We encourage instructors of all modalities, disciplines, and identities to apply to participate in our pilots of new technology.

Participating in our pilot process is a unique opportunity for you as an instructor to influence the future of learning and teaching technology at Pima Community College. By partnering directly with the ALT Team, you can ensure the voices of you and your students have a direct impact on the academic technologies at Pima.
