Creating a Discussion Forum

1. Log in to D2L and use the navigation bar at the top to click "Tools". Then click "Discussions" from the drop down.

2. On the discussions page, click the blue "New" button and select "New Forum" from the drop down.

3. Next, click the "Properties" tab and fill in the title for the new forum.

4. Then, fill in the "Description" and click the boxes beside "Options" as desired.

5. Additional settings can be set under the "Restrictions" tab.

6. When finished, click "Save and Close" at the bottom of the page.

7. After clicking "Save and Close" the page will return to the discussion list. The bottom of the page is where the forum is now visible.
