Understanding the Brightspace D2L Login Screen

1. Launch your preferred web browser (such as Chrome, Firefox, or Safari) on your computer or mobile device.

D2L Brightspace recommends Chrome or Firefox for your best experience.

2. Go to the Pima Community College D2L Brightspace (d2l.pima.edu) login page. You can also log into the MyPima (Home - LookingGlass (pima.edu)) page, then navigate to D2L from there. Either way, you should see the below screen:

3. On the PCC Brightspace D2L login screen, click the blue 'Click to Login' icon. This will take you SSO/MyPima login page. Enter your username that is associated with your MyPima account.

4. Below the username field, you will find a field labeled "Password." Enter the password associated with your MyPima account. Make sure to enter it correctly, paying attention to uppercase and lowercase letters as well as any special characters.

5. Once you have entered your username and password, locate the "LOGIN" button on the login screen. Select it to proceed with the login process.

6. If prompted, verify your access with DUO.

7. After a successful login, you will finally be redirected to PCC's D2L Brightspace Course Home.

That's it! You have successfully understood the Brightspace D2L login screen and logged in to the platform. Remember to log out of your account when you're finished using Brightspace D2L, especially if you're using a shared device, to ensure the security of your account.

If a user is accessing these articles through the Screensteps website, this article will be of more assistance for them since they are not in D2L while performing the steps above!
