About
The Book Club
James Lang's Small Teaching is a wonderful source of simple, easy to implement, yet highly effective teaching strategies that will benefit instructors in all disciplines and modalities. Join us in the book club as we meet weekly on Wednesdays from 12pm to 1pm MST on Zoom over 6 weeks in October and November to discuss the research, models, and approaches recommended by Lang. We'll dive in together on a few topics each week using strategies from the book as we meet to gain a deeper understanding of how these approaches work for both instructors and students.
The book club will culminate with a meeting with the author, James Lang, on November 13th from 12pm to 1pm MST.
See the Weekly Agenda and Dates below for more on the topics and dates.
